We advise you not to watch this video while eating because you will immediately regurgitate your food upon seeing one of the worst tackles we’ve seen in a long time.

When we think about the worst fouls we have ever seen in football, it is one executed by a goalkeeper, Germany’s Toni Schumacher, on France’s Patrick Battiston in the 1982 World Cup, that stands out above the rest.

And although this one wasn’t on as big as stage and it wasn’t quite as bad as that, it’s still pretty horrific. According to 101 Great Goals, it took place in a under-17 match between AS Villaret and S.O.M. in France last weekend and we’d say that the poor victim still hasn’t recovered yet after being on the receiving end of a vicious lunge from the opposition goalkeeper, who lost the head after wandering way too far from his own goal.

We guess that the ‘keeper was thinking that if he didn’t get to the ball there was nobody going to score while he went AWOL from the goal, but surely he could have tripped your man or dragged him to the ground; going to such violent lengths, and in such a delicate area, was surely uncalled for.

Ouch.
