When your nickname is ‘The Manimal’ you have a lot to live up to. Kenneth Faried is certainly doing just that at Denver. A first-round draft pick in 2011 the 6’8” power forward was third in the Rookie of the Year vote last year and he is even better this season.

In Monday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns, a fast break by the Nuggets presented Ty Lawson with a chance for a showy move and lofted a big pass in the general direction of the hoop.

Faried did the rest. Not quite CP3 and Blake but close enough.
