We know that Brazilians are a very friendly and helpful people, but this is possibly going a bit too far.
By Adrian Collins
An innocent bystander in Brazil accidentally helped a crook as he was fleeing the scene of an armed robbery with a bag full of swag.
CCTV footage shows the robber entering the lotto agent's store in Divino in the province of Minas Gerais, Brazil and pointing a gun at the workers behind the counter, demanding that they hand over all the cash.
As he starts to flee the scene with the money, a bystander walks in and notices that the escaping criminal has left some money behind him on the floor, and helpfully points out that he’d dropped a R$50 (equivalent to about €20) note.
The guy was clearly completely unaware that there had been anything untoward going on, and had no idea that he’d just accidentally helped a robber until the workers told him what had happened. According to police, they robber made a get away and still hasn't been found.
