According to the Manchester Evening News, the footage was recorded in Manchester’s Piccadilly Station in March of last year and shows a group of Manchester United fans, who had been watching the Red Devils defeat Norwich on the day, clash with a stag party dressed up in Where’s Wally regalia, who had been drinking for most of the day along the Yorkshire Ale Trail having set off from Bolton at 10am in the morning.

The two parties clashed after exchanging verbals while passing each other on travelators going in opposite directions in Piccadilly Station and then the situation escalated out of hand, with one member of the group of United fans attacking a member of the stag party with a crutch at one point.

The incident was the subject of a court hearing this week and you can read more details in the Manchester Evening News here, but five people were found guilty of affray with the judge handing out a series of fines and suspended sentences and labelling the brawl as ‘ridiculous’, adding: “This was disgraceful – you consumed such a quantity of alcohol that your judgement went out of the window.”
