Video: Conference player scores the type of goal anyone who’s ever played FIFA has been trying to score for years

As soon as you see it, you’ll understand.

As soon as you see it, you’ll understand.

If you’ve ever played FIFA, Pro Evolution Soccer, the vintage Sensible Soccer or indeed any type of football computer game, then you’re a bare-faced liar if you don’t admit to trying to take on the entire opposition and score straight from kick-off, normally out of anger in reaction to conceding a goal yourself.

It rarely happens in actual football matches – because it usually never works – but Elliott Durell of Hednesford Town managed to pull it off against Bradford Park Avenue in a Conference North clash in recent days.

The terrible state of the pitch and the presence of multiple opposition defenders didn’t stop Durell from executing a mazy dribble through the heart of the Bradford Park Avenue defence before sending an accomplished finish to the bottom corner and fulfilling the dreams of anyone who’s ever played a football game on the computer in the process.

If ever a goal was worthy of the celebration below, it’s this…
