Video: Cool new promo for 100th Tour de France but no sign of you know who

The people behind the Tour de France have released a very cool video to promote the 100^th race this year. One man has been very effectively erased from the event's history.

When we heard that the Tour de France had prepared a special two-minute 'history of the race' style clip to generate some buzz for the 100^th race this summer our first thought was; is Lance going to be in the video?

We guess we shouldn’t be surprised (he had all seven wins stripped after all) but the disgraced Texan doesn’t appear for in a single frame, while almost all the other winners of the race do.

Anyway, aside from the rather large Armstrong-shaped hole, the clip is very good with lots of shots of past greats, exciting moments and the tremendous scenery that makes watching the race so damn entertaining. We know it isn't everyone's favourite event, for obvious reasons, but we fell for the Tour a long time ago and damn it, we just can't quit it now.
