Hull proved too good for Liverpool today at the KC Stadium, with Ireland’s David Meyler getting the goal that gave them a second half lead
Meyler’s celebration was one of a man who was clearly ecstatic, having struggled back from a few serious injuries to finally get himself a Premier League goal.
For all the supporters of the Boys in Green though, he showed that he most definitely has a spot in the Ireland squad in his sights by revealing his tricolour shinpads to the camera.

Skrtel added to the misery for Liverpool fans when he headed into his own net trying to block a Tom Huddlestone shot, but Liverpool were not at the races today as Hull proved far too strong for Brendan Rodgers’ side. Kolo Toure, for one, was not pleased.
