It's been a game that has lived up to the lack of hype in the first half, but right before the whistle, Dimitar Berbatov scored this cracker.

If there's one thing you can say about Fulham's Dimitar Berbatov, it's that the boy's got tekkers. He's often been criticised for not showing enough effort or running around like a mad man chasing lost causes, but he does give you moments like this, which make it all worth it.

As the ball is whipped in from the wing, Robert Huth's headed clearance falls to Berbatov who decides to go for an audacious volley. Cool as you like, he waits for it to drop and smashes it past Begovic, who had no chance.

The first half has been unremarkable apart from this moment right before the break, although Steven N'Zonzi was possibly lucky to not see red when he appeared to deliberately make contact with Bryan Ruiz's face earlier in the half, and will need to be on his best behaviour for the rest of the game.
