Letting your mates cut your hair after a few beers is bad enough, but when you let them do so with a blow-torch rather than a scissors you should be prepared for the inevitable consequences.
For some mad reason – we reckon the beer might have been the decisive factor – the brave (some would say foolish, some would say gullible) chap in the video above decided to put himself at the mercy of his equally well-oiled friends and volunteered to have his head of fairly thick black hair cut off in makeshift fashion.
Once the man whom we’re told is called Bailer – an up and coming cattle dealer from the south Kildare area – had his head covered with flammable spray, the ‘barber’ on the scene then lit it with a blow torch and watched as it caught fire in spectacular fashion.
Thankfully for all involved it went out fairly quickly and only left the victim with a hot and rather itchy head afterwards.
It goes without saying that this is the sort of stunt that should never be tried at home; stick to simply cutting off chunks of your mate’s hair or shaving their eyebrows, it’s far safer.
