Ask Celtic fans to name the best players to have donned the famous green and white jersey over the years and it won’t be long until the name Henrik Larsson pops up.
The Swede made an impression at every club he played at over the years – including Barcelona and in his brief spell at Manchester United – but he remains a living legend at Celtic Park following a highly successful and highly prolific spell in Scotland after his arrival from Feyenoord in 1997 and prior to his departure to Barcelona in 2004.
All in all, Larsson scored 242 goals during his time with the Hoops, including some cracking goals, some very important goals and no shortage of headers with the trademark dreadlocks that he sadly decided to get rid of a good few years back.
What a legend.
