As Rocky, the Karate Kid and almost every other film and TV show in the 80s have shown, there are few more entertaining things on the big or small screen than a montage. Now, Game of Thrones has got in on the act.
With Season Three having just wrapped up, fans of the hugely popular HBO TV show are going to have to find other ways to entertain themselves until the new season airs sometime next year.
While re-watching the controversial Red Wedding episode over and over again is one way to do it, a far more entertaining and less traumatising way to satisfy that GOT itch is provided by this highly amusing montage of Jon Snow in training mode which has surfaced on the interweb in recent days.
Complete with vintage 1980s backdrop music, provided in this case by John Farnham, with music from the BMX movie Rad, it doesn’t contain any spoilers so it can be enjoyed by all Game of Thrones fans no matter how far they have gone in the series, but whether it reaches the level of our favourite ever montage we’re not so sure…
