It didn't take him long to make an impact on tonight's game, as Gareth Bale scores and gets booked for diving in the space of a few minutes.

There are few words that can capture the type of form Gareth Bale is currently in, scintillating, incredible, unbelievable, whatever word you choose, we're all still saying the same thing: that boy ain't half bad.

With this goal, he traded in his magic wand of a left peg for his head, as he rose above his marker to head home well from the cross.

Minutes after this goal however, Bale was booked for simulation in the area, although on closer inspection in the replay, it certainly looks like he was caught, making it an extremely harsh yellow.

Inter have looked extremely poor so far, and with a long time left in the match yet, we expect Bale to trouble Samir Handanovic's goal a bit more before the end.
