There was a bit of craic in the tunnel after the benefit match between Salford City and the Manchester United Class of ’92 last night.
Following their defeat to Salford City, United’s former players took on the ice bucket challenge in the name of charity, the Old Trafford legends were raising funds for the James McArthur Brain Tumor Foundation.
First up was Gary Neville and to his credit, the former right-back took his punishment on the chin but he didn’t look too happy about it.
In fairness, we wouldn’t like some freezing cold water dumped over our heads, but we imagine that there are quite a lot of football fans who will enjoy the sight of Gary Neville being soaked to the bone.
