Video: Glen Johnson’s goal against West Ham was a bit of a peach

That’s three goals in his last three league games against West Ham for Glen Johnson and what a strike it was too. He obviously loves playing against his old club.

That’s three goals in his last three league games against West Ham for Glen Johnson and what a strike it was too. He obviously loves playing against his old club.

The Hammers defence pretty much stood aside and invited the Liverpool full-back to drift in from his right-back berth and they were made to pay for it when he struck a gem of an effort into the top corner from the edge of the box.

Jussi Jaaskelainen had no chance as the ball rocketed into the net like a bullet and as has happened quite a lot this season, Johnson did the honourable thing and didn’t go too over the top with his celebrations afterwards.

He would have been entitled to, because this was a belter.
