Video: ‘I pity the puck.’ Mr T scores at half-time in the Chicago Blackhawks game last night

As soon as he had quit his jibber-jabber with the TV host, Mr. T sent Chicago Blackhawks fans into a frenzy after scoring during a half-time shoot-out in their clash with the Calgary Flames last night.

The A-team star belatedly brought his a-game to the ice at the United Center, scoring with the third of his three efforts as a celebrity guest in the half-time ‘Shoot the Puck’ game, where contestants have to try and send the puck through one of three holes in the goalmouth.

Mr. T was in vintage form prior to the shot, saying that he predicted ‘pain’ for the puck while also trotting out the inevitable ‘I pity the puck’ line but he was putting so much effort into his usual script that he briefly forgot the name of host Susannah Collins.

Mr. T technically didn’t win as he was meant to shoot through a hole in the centre of the goalmouth after his initial successful shot but there were few 'fools' brave enough to tell him and as he had already whipped the crowd into a frenzy, there were few who actually cared at that stage anyway.
