Video: Incredibly aggressive fan gets tasered at Major League Baseball game in California
One very angry and very aggressive fan in the crowd at the Oakland A’s v Detroit Tigers game last night refused repeated warnings to calm down and it did not end well for him at all.
We’ve all probably encountered some misbehaving supporters at sporting events, particularly when there is alcohol involved, but more often than not, they can be brought under control by stewards or members of security staff present at the scene.
One fan at the MLB Play-Off game between Oakland A’s and Detroit Tigers in Oakland last night reacted aggressively to attempts to calm him down and after a number of angry confrontations with police officers, security personnel and even other fans, one of the police officers present was forced into using his taser in an effort to restore order.
The taser, unsurprisingly, had the desired effect and despite the shock he received, the aggressor wasn’t receiving much in the way of sympathy from other supporters present, some of whom whooped and hollered while another shouted that this guy ‘is going to jail for a long time’.
He’ll certainly know not to step out of line in future, if he’s ever let back into a stadium again, of course.
