Video: It’s just like watching Barcelona. Greek youth team score unbelievable team goal

If this goal was scored by Barcelona, we’d all be drooling it over for weeks. But just because it was scored by a bunch of kids doesn’t mean we should appreciate it any less.

If this goal was scored by Barcelona, we’d all be drooling it over for weeks. But just because it was scored by a bunch of kids doesn’t mean we should appreciate it any less.

The team in question, a youth team from the Tyros club in Greece, have obviously taken their lead from the Catalan giants, adopting a style of play that saw them put 20 uninterrupted passes together straight from kick-off before it was finished to the opposition net after a move that appears to involve all 11 players.

And they weren’t just fancy passes in and around the box either. Despite being under pressure on numerous occasion the Tyros lads endeavoured to keep the ball on the floor, even the ‘keeper, who was dangerously close to losing the ball after executing a Cruyff turn in his own box.

Words can’t do it justice, however, you have to see it for yourself in the video above to appreciate just how good it is. It’s early doors, but we’re already chalking it down as the lead contender for our 2013 Goal of the Year competition.

Class.
