Real Madrid’s latest Galactico was unveiled this evening as James Rodriguez was presented to the crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu following his £63m transfer from Monaco.
The 23-year-old has signed a six-year-contract with the Spanish giants and as you can imagine the Real supporters are very excited following Rodriguez’s displays during the World Cup. One fan got a bit over-excited at the unveiling this evening and decided to rush on to the pitch to embrace his new hero.
The security guards jumped in to intercept the fan but before they dragged him down the tunnel, Rodriguez calmed the situation down and even gave the guy a football…
That gesture will win earn him a few brownie points with the supporters. Now we can’t wait to see how he’s going to fit into the Real team next season.
