Video: Juan Mata acts as interpreter as Angel di Maria takes Man Of The Match award

The Argentine winger was in scintillating form on his Old Trafford debut, Manchester United beat QPR 4-0.

With Angel di Maria still to learn English, Juan Mata was asked to step in as interpreter as Geoff Shreeves interviewed them for Sky Sports after a resounding victory.

Both players were on the scoresheet - as well as Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera - as United dominated QPR from start to finish.

Judging by this interview, if di Maria learns to speak English half as well as his Spanish team-mate he'll be doing very well indeed.

Geoff Shreeves did ask the former Real Madrid star if he meant his first goal for the club - a direct free-kick that evaded everyone to fly in past Robert Green - with the response, inevitably, coming in the universal language of 'evasive footballer speak.'
