With rumours that Arsenal and Man. Utd are interested in QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar, his performance tonight will have only added to his price-tag.

The former Inter Milan keeper has been in top form in recent weeks behind what has been often a struggling defence. Cesar has done as much as anyone to help QPR’s survival chances and his athletic save from Gareth Barry in the first half helped to gain what may prove to be an invaluable point at the end of the season.

The England midfielder looked to have given City the lead before the interval, but Cesar brilliantly tipped the shot past the post. The home side conceded four to the MK Dons at Loftus Road just three days ago, but were far more resilient with the champions on their door-step.

The draw sees QPR sit five points adrift of Wigan and Reading, but for City it means two points dropped in the title chase with United hosting Southampton tomorrow night at Old Trafford.
