Video: Luis Suarez does it again with another moment of magic

It was billed as a showdown between two of the most influential players in the Premier League and Luis Suarez hasn’t disappointed.

The Uruguayan and Gareth Bale have not only been their team’s most important player respectively, they are two of the in-form players in the world right now. Both have shipped criticism for their histrionics, but both men would arguably walk onto any team in the world right now.

Suarez needed just 20 minutes to showcase his talents with a sublime goal that was cancelled out just before the half-time whistle.

Impressive work from Philippe Coutinho and Luis Enrique saw the Spaniard lay the ball on for the striker who beat the Spurs offside trap before slipping the ball past Hugo Lloris for a brilliant opener.

Coutinho has made an early impression on the Anfield crowd, but it is Suarez who continues to be the talisman, though Spurs did manage to level matter just before the interval courtesy of Jan Vertonghen.
