Everyone knows what a competitive animal Luis Suarez is out on the pitch, but he doesn’t seem to switch off even in training it seems. Even when training with the Liverpool ladies in fact.

Ahead of their opening game in the Women’s Super League this weekend, the Liverpool ladies got to join in with the lads at the club’s Hoyton training ground.

Everything was going swimmingly during a nice game of keep ball, until Luis Suarez launched AN ABSOLUTELY VICIOUS lunge at one of the Liverpool ladies, who was lucky to escape with her legs still intact such was the force of the Uruguayan striker’s tackle.

That wasn’t the case, of course, it was all a bit of a laugh, but such is Suarez’s reputation that there will be some who will no doubt try and blow the episode out of proportion at a time when the Premier League’s leading scorer is very much the centre of attention due to the doubts over his future on Merseyside.
