MON is being very hard on the journos these days…
Reporting on the Republic of Ireland football team has got a whole lot more interesting since the appointment of Martin O’Neill and his assistant manager Roy Keane.
The two guys are box office but their relationship with the media down through the years has been a bit rocky and it seems they haven’t softened with age.
Keane and O’Neill had a pop at the media a few weeks ago accusing them of being negative and today the manager has had a bit of a go at clothing choices of the journalists at the presser.
“Torn jeans”, “dirty old trousers”, “scruffy shoes with vomit on” were all comments from O’Neill, check out the footage here…
