Video: Michigan University player does the most fitting Thierry Henry impression possible

One of the finest goals the Premier League has ever seen was replicated at the weekend and James Murphy, if you do nothing else, you will always have this to your name.

Back in October 2000 the PlayStation 2 was first released, and the wrestler Rodney Anoa’i – better known as Yokozuna – went to the wrestling ring in the sky, but more importantly Henry hit a belter of a goal to seal a 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Murphy, who we are going to go out on a limb and suggest has some Irish blood, scored pretty much a carbon copy, and while university level in the US falls a little below the Premier League in standard, it is still a collector’s item.

All he needed was the Frenchman’s “Wazzup” Budweiser celebration to cap it off.

And here is a reminder of that brilliant strike at Highbury.

Sheer class.
