New England Revolution player Saër Sène looks set for a spell on the sidelines after this gruesome break

This Saturday Saër Sène suffered what looks to be a season-ending injury in the New England Revolution’s game against the Montreal Impact.

On first glance, it doesn’t look too bad and the tackle did appeared clean, but Sène’s leg appears to get caught underneath Davy Arnaud, who’s making the challenge. All the players for both teams immediately recognise the problem however, and call for help for the 26-year-old, who was clearly in a great deal of pain.

We’re not exactly medical professionals in the JOE offices (we only perform minor surgeries in the office on weekends and Bank Holidays) but we’re pretty sure your ankle shouldn’t face that direction.
