It is hard to believe it is a year since AFL legend and Dubliner Jim Stynes passed. Fox Sports marked the day with this brilliant, and moving, tribute.
On March 20, 2012, Jim Stynes lost his long and brave battle with cancer. His death was felt on both sides of the globe and one year on it is still hard to believe he is no longer with us.
To mark the first anniversary of his death Fox Sports ran this tribute last night on their football show AFL360.
It sums up perfectly what Jim meant to everyone in Australia and if anyone did our nation proud abroad, it was Jim Stynes.
We should still be proud of what he achieved as his legacy lives on through his inspirational book My Journey and his Reach Foundation.
On the day that the International Rules Series was launched again, there is no better time to remember a legend in every sense of the word.
RIP Jim.
