Two of the all-time greats have joined forces to get us even more hyped about the World Cup
In the run up to the World Cup, two of the greatest to play the game, Pelé and Cristiano Ronaldo star in a new ad that has us already getting in the samba spirit for the world’s biggest football tournament.
Both of the legendary lusophones are in the A380 onboard lounge, the flagship aircraft of Emirates, which certainly looks like a way to travel in serious style, where two football fans catch a glimpse of the legendary striker…only for him to realise they’re talking about Pele.
Ronaldo was announced today as the latest Global Ambassador to join forces with Emirates, whose relationship with football is well and truly established thanks to their links with Real Madrid, Arsenal, PSG, and a whole host of other clubs, leagues and sporting events around the world. They are also an official partner for the World Cup in 2014 in Brazil, which is why World Cup winner and legend Pelé also stars, given that football’s biggest tournament is taking place in his home country.
