The Irish captain was on the scoresheet twice during LA Galaxy’s facile 5-0 win over Chivas last night, first of all tucking home a Landon Donovan pull back for the opening goal after six minutes (see above), before rounding off the scoring with a tidy finish on the half-volley a few minutes from time (see below).
Keane might have scored a brace but the night belonged to Landon Donovan, who equalled Jeff Cunningham’s MLS career goals record by reaching a tally of 134 overall with his second and the Galaxy’s third goal of the game and it wasn’t a half-bad effort either.
