We've heard of taking off your jersey, but jumping down a hole?
In Brazil last night, Coritiba defeated Sao Paulo by 3-1 but it was the celebration of striker Joel that the match will be most remembered for. Coritiba went two goals to one up before Joel wrapped up the scoring in the final minutes with a coolly taken goal.
Joel went off celebrating and jumped over a narrow barrier at the side of the pitch only to find there was a drop into a stairwell the other side… it was both hilarious and shocking and we can't help but laugh at the reactions of the two stewards when Joel takes his plunge.
Fortunately the only thing wounded in the incident was Joel’s pride but we're sure that won’t take the gloss off a fantastic win for Coritiba.
