You won’t hear much swearing on network TV in the US, because someone has to think of the children, but Hugh Laurie and Stephen Colbert recently took a stand against overbearing censors.

Cable TV and network TV are two completely different things over in the US. You can get away with much more on cable, mainly swearing and nudity, than you can on network TV.

So, Hugh Laurie and Stephen Colbert recently decided to see just how far they could push the envelope when it came to saying bad (but not banned) words on network TV. It’s actually rather classy…

The former star of House conjures up some pretty classy swears like, ‘bang, banging bitches’, ‘cootchie juice’ and ‘hummer hand-job’ just to name a few. They’re certainly not the type of phrases you’d hear coming out of Coppers at 2am in the morning.
