A combination of misfortune and desperately poor finishing saw one team somehow mange to hit the crossbar three times in as many seconds.
It is the kind of thing that you would struggle to achieve if you set out to do it, but Qatari outfit Lekhwiya managed to rattle the crossbar three times in quick succession during the Asian Champions League.
They went on to lose 4-1 to Marcello Lippi’s Guangzhou Evergrande and when you see the finishing on show here, you will be amazed they managed to get on the scoresheet at all.
The first shot does take a deflection, but the follow up efforts are breathtaking poor. But entertaining none the less.
