Video: The RTE panel were good value for money after the Ireland v Sweden game tonight

Whether you agree with what they have to say or not, the RTE panel normally make for compelling viewing when covering Ireland games and tonight was no different.

Normally it’s not until after the game that temperatures begin to rise amongst the holy trinity of Giles, Dunphy and Brady, but they started early this evening when Dunphy referred to Brady as Trap’s PR man after 'Chippy' tried to stick up for the embattled manager prior to kick-off.

Despite a favourable result and an excellent performance, Dunphy and Brady returned to the theme of Trap after the game, with Brady suggesting that he deserves more credit than he is getting at the moment and Dunphy blasting him for his treatment of players in the past.

As always, the debate between the pair of them made for great entertainment and be sure to keep an ear out for Dunphy’s ‘Trainrobbers’ comment two minutes in.
