Aston Villa and West Brom will have a lot to live up to if this is the standard of goal we’ll see today
PFC Neftochimic Burgas’s Tsvetomir Tsonkov scored a pretty brilliant goal today in a huge match against one of the biggest teams in Bulgaria, CSKA Sofia.
Tsonkov got on the end of a sloppy pass and lofted a fantastic ball past the despairing dive of Tomáš Černý, whose outstretched hand and theatrical dive couldn’t stop the ball ending up in the net.
It wasn’t all good news for Tsonkov and Neftochimic however, as Martin Petrov got a goal back less than ten minutes later to equalise, and the side from Burgas let the game slip and ended up losing 3-1. After 18 games they now sit second bottom of the table, so this might be a nice highlight to look back on at the end of a pretty disappointing season.
