Video: This volley scored in the Lebanon last night is quality
Super touch, brilliant finish, if it was Messi that scored this goal football fans worldwide would be going crazy.
That it wasn’t Messi doesn’t mean that it’s worthy of any less praise because this volley by Lebanon’s Adnan Haidar is one of the best we’ve seen in ages.
Taking down a clearance on the edge of the box, Haidar controlled the ball on his chest, nicked it away from a defender with the deftest of touches and smashed it into the top corner, all without the ball touching the ground.
No offence to either side but we wouldn’t normally be too excited about games involving the Lebanon and Oman, but if this sort of thing happens in clashes between them on a regular basis, we’ll be keeping a closer eye on things in the future.
Pick that one out.
