The little birdie is seven today, so the folks at Twitter put together a look back at the history of the tweet.
Twitter was such a great idea it’s a surprise nobody thought of it first. But it was Jack Dorsey, aged 29 at the time, who put it all together and the rest, as they say, is history.
That history, seven years worth, has now been put together in a neat little clip to celebrate the day the first tweet was sent by Dorsey.
With around 200 million account holders, the site still has a long way to go to catch Facebook but we wouldn’t be surprised if they caught up with Zuckerberg’s baby real soon.
