If you thought watching one person landing a backflip was impressive, wait until you see 30 people landing one while holding hands…
A group of 30 skiers have set a new world record after they all completed a backflip while holding hands… It’s pretty damn impressive. Have a gander below:
Now, it took the group two attempts, but after failing on the first, they managed to land the backflip with expert precision on the second attempt.
The record jump was organised by Mogul freestyle skiing world cup champion Mikaël Kingsbury and took place at the ski resort of Mont St Sauveur in Quebec, Canada.
According to reports, the group trained for two hours alone or in pairs or small groups until they had got the hang of the it before getting together for the record attempt.
Sadly, the skiers were too late with their jump to make it into this year’s Guinness World Record books, but they hope the jump will make it into the next edition.
