After a hard weekend of training at the University of Limerick, the guys and girls of the Irish Amputee Football Association decided to have a lash at the Crossbar Challenge…

We’ve just been sent in the following video from JOE reader Mac Sandair, who says the video was recently shot at the end of a training camp at University of Limerick.

According to Mac, the squad is currently preparing for the amputee World Cup in Mexico, which takes place from November 30 to December 8 this year.

There are some seriously close calls in the video above, especially at the start from Kevin O’Rourke and Alan Wall, but hats off to Craig Dowling who manages to hit the crossbar at the end.

The banter in the background is also priceless…

Hat tip to Mac Sandair for sending this our way
