We imagine Ronaldo will have a far more serious head on him at Old Trafford tonight, but he was certainly enjoying himself in the pre-game training session last night.

The Portuguese superstar will this evening return to his old stomping ground for the first time since leaving the Red Devils in 2009 and it will no doubt play on his emotions a little to go back to an arena where he was much loved and enjoyed much success for six seasons.

Real Madrid trained at the Etihad Stadium last night in preparation for the game and if the fact that he was wearing a ridiculously oversized hat wasn’t proof enough that he was enjoying himself, the brilliant flick executed in the video above offered further proof that the nerves weren’t having any effect at that stage anyway.

It’s a flick Ronaldo could pull off his sleep, of course and he has scored goals doing this type of thing in the past.

What sort of mood he's in tonight will probably decide whether it's his current club or his old one who progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.
