This is just sublime…

This is just sublime…

We’d be lying if we said that we followed Swedish football fervently and that we keep a close eye on events in the Allsvenskan (Swedish football league), but we do know that 21-year old attacker Sam Larsson has been attracting plenty of attention for his performances for IFK Goteborg and last night he showed just why.

Larsson stood out with a goal and two assists in Goteborg’s 5-0 win over Åtvidaberg last night and the with the second of those assists, he pulled off one of the most outrageous pieces of skill you’ll see this year.

Having instantly controlled the ball in a crowded Åtvidaberg penalty area with a great first touch, Larsson then took out three defenders as the ball stuck to his foot as if it was glued to it while he performed a 180 degree turn before guiding it in the direction of teammate Lasse Vibe, who duly tucked it past the ‘keeper.

Stunning stuff. Remember the name folks.
