A bit unorthodox perhaps, but at least he showed he cares.

We only have FIFA and Football Manager to go on rather than any actual life experience, but even being a virtual football manager can be tough and extremely stressful at times, so we can only imagine what it’s like in real life.

Birmingham manager Lee Clark gave an insight into life in a manager’s shoes during his side’s Championship clash with Burnley last night, a game that finished in a 3-3 draw after the Blues came from behind on three occasions to secure a valuable point as they battle to stay clear of the drop zone.

The last equaliser was scored by Federico Macheda – yes, he’s STILL on loan from Manchester United – in dramatic circumstances in stoppage time at the end of the game, following which Clark let his emotions get the better of him and gave the advertising hoardings a good old kicking before letting out a frenzied, vein-popping roar of joy and relief shortly afterwards.

As a former Newcastle United man himself, it’s not hard to see where he got his inspiration from…
