From the sublime to the ridiculous...

Javier Hernandez showed he had lost none of his goal-scoring instincts as he opened the scoring for Mexico last night in their 2-0 friendly win over fellow World Cup participants Honduras. Running on to a through ball, two touches to control and then BAAAAAAAAAAANG, a superb finish. Wish we could say the same for his celebration though. We are not sure what that was all about. It reminded us of our mammy when she won a fiver on a scratch card. The striker, currently on loan at Real Madrid from parent club Manchester United, has had a rough time with the international team and started last night for the first time in a few games. Maybe he had forgotten how to celebrate properly? Yeah, that’s probably it.​
