Vine: Last season’s Christian Benteke scores a wonderful overhead bicycle kick against Norwich

He would appear to be back.

It seems like a long time since Christian Benteke was earmarked as one of the best strikers in England, but he was back with a vengeance today.

The big Belgian spoiled Wes Hoolahan’s clash with his former manager Paul Lambert after the Irishman gave Norwich the lead against the side he almost joined in January.

Benteke wasn’t to be stopped, and his first of two was something very special.

Leandro Bacuna and a Sebastien Bassong own goal meant that Villa went into the half-time break 4-1 up, with last week’s win over Tottenham a fading memory for Chris Hughton and his side.
