Suarez is still officially suspended after taking a bite out of Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup but he’s been keeping himself ticking over in a few friendlies, the latest of which was an international clash against Oman today.
Granted, the opposition aren’t up to much but Suarez looked pretty sharp up front, netting his first with a messy-enough left-footed finish into the bottom corner…
… and then doubling his tally with a lovely dink over the onrushing ‘keeper from the edge of the box...
It’s too early to say if he’ll line out against Real Madrid in El Clasico on October 26 but he hasn’t forgotten how to finish in the meantime; that Messi/Neymar/Suarez triumvirate is going to be some prospect for Luis Enrique when they’re all fit and healthy.
