Vine: Wayne Rooney sent off for this stupid kick out at Stewart Downing

It was the Manchester United captain’s first red card in club football for five years.

As Stewart Downing eased away from him, Rooney – who had scored to give United the lead early in the game – lashed out with his right foot.
