Vine: Wilfried Bony’s magnificent nutmeg on Vlad Chiriches was a thing of beauty

Granted, it made little difference to the end result, but this piece of skill will certainly be taking pride of place on Wilfried Bony’s highlight reel.

It was a bad day at the office for Bony and his Swansea teammates as they fell to a 3-1 defeat to an Emmanuel Adebayor inspired Tottenham Hotspur in what was their third league loss on the bounce and fifth in six games. Bony did score a consolation goal late on, but far more impressive was a nutmeg on Vlad Chiriches in the penalty area, with the striker showing Ronaldinho-esque skills to knock it through Chiriches leg while sending him the wrong way in the process.
