Christiano Ronaldo and friends will have to pull the collective finger out if they're going to get their World Cup campaign up and running it seems.
Shortly into the first half, Germany's Mario Gotze wriggled clear of the Portuguese defence and, just before he unleashed a shot on goal, was hauled down by Joao Pereira. The defender subsequently received a yellow card for his troubles, while Bayern Munich's Thomas Müller once again proved just how good the Germans are at banging home brilliant penalties.
As the Germans definitely say, "cool as ein cucumber."
