It’s Monday afternoon, and it’s July, so dates, times and venues are the buzzwords. Here are the details for next weekend’s All-Ireland football qualifier games.
The six-day turnaround is the mountain to be climbed by Down and Meath, who lost provincial finals on Sunday.
Meath get the day’s fourth round qualifiers up and running with their game against Leinster rivals Laois in Tullamore, with Down taking on Tipperary in Mullingar.
The other two games take place in the evening, with Kildare and Sligo facing off in Roscommon and Kerry and Clare meeting at the Gaelic Grounds.
Although there’s no confirmation from RTE as yet, it appears that the Meath-Laois game has been selected for live TV coverage.
All-Ireland fourth round qualifier fixtures:
Meath v Laois, O’Connor Park, Tullamore, 3.30pm
Down v Tipperary, Cusack Park, Mullingar, 4pm
Sligo v Kildare, Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon, 6.30pm
Clare v Kerry, Gaelic Grounds, Limerick, 7pm
