As it is the start of a new year many of us may be considering ‘de-cluttering’ our lives and flogging some stuff we have lying around the house on the internet.
One Mayo man, prompted by, and we quote “Mother naggin for months”, is doing just that, selling a varied range of car parts on DoneDeal.
But this is no ordinary car parts ad. Oh no. What our man has done has showcased his wares in the unusual setting of his bathroom.
So we have wing mirror covers posed beside the mirror, a chrome exhaust system that doubles as a toilet brush and bog roll holder and an assorted bag of parts sitting in the shower.
The total price for the entire range of stuff, which includes an in-car TV, rear shocks, brake pads and a few other bits and pieces is a very precise €323.
He is also throwing in a Honda service book, free to “whoever owns 97MO5118 now”. What a gent...
