We’ve just been sent in this cracking little video by JOE reader and Roscommon native, Dara Duke, whose dog Trigger looks like one of the best pets in the world.
The short-haired Westminster Afghan terrier cross (or Border Collie, maybe?) gets extremely excited anytime a car leaves Dara’s house. So recently, Dara decided to record Trigger’s reaction and it’s absolutely bonkers...

The dog chases his own tail in front of Dara’s car holding him up like a child who wants to show something his dad before the dad heads off to work. However, Dara, who’s obviously wise to Trigger’s tricks by now, manages to sneak around the dog, who then darts off down the lane to watch his owner leave. All to a brilliantly fitting soundtrack.
Now that’s what we call loyalty.
