In a show of many
highlights, there was one moment from Centenary that seemed to resonate most with the Irish public. A reading of the Proclamation of the Republic was a key part of the celebrations on Easter Sunday but this effort is arguably the highlight of a weekend where every Irish person should feel incredibly proud of our history, culture and country.
The creators of Centenary tracked down people from around the world to give a dramatic reading of those famous words that were first read by Pádraig Pearse on the steps of the G.P.O.
